UTC 2 Sheffield for Human Sciences and Computing is being led by The Sheffield College. Sheffield Hallam University and Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and Industry are co-sponsors. It has been designed by Bond Bryan architects and will be built by BAM Construction on the Olympic Legacy Park.
UTC 2 Sheffield will provide students with academic qualifications and technical skills for the human sciences and computing sectors. This includes healthcare technology, sports science, exercise medicine and wellbeing, which are all key growth sectors in Sheffield City Region. UTC 2 Sheffield will open in September 2016, and have capacity for 600 students aged 14 to 19.
