Moving towards a stronger, healthier future.
Legacy Park Ltd is a partnership between:
Sheffield City Council,
Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust,
Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust,
Sheffield Hallam University,
Sheffield City Trust,
NHS South Yorkshire Integrated Care Board, and
Health Innovation Yorkshire & Humber.
This collaboration of key institutions was established in 2015 to drive the development of Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park and deliver an Olympic legacy through the four themes of Sport, Community, Environment and Economy.
Each organisation has a strong desire to achieve the ambitions of the Park, by improving physical and mental health and wellbeing and harnessing the power of research and innovation to deliver transformational change and positive outcomes for the population.
In 2020, Scarborough Group International was appointed as development partner by Sheffield City Council to deliver the next phase of the Park, which will include approximately 1 million sq ft of commercial space across an 80-acre zone around the established facilities, creating space for up to 5,600 high-value jobs in the process.
The home of world-class innovation in sport, health and wellbeing.
