Just minutes from Sheffield City Centre and Meadowhall, Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park, along with several brilliant facilities such as the English Institute of Sport Sheffield), iceSheffield, Altitude, Oasis Academy Don Valley and UTC Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park, are all easy to reach via the Stagecoach Supertram yellow route.
 
Over the summer, we teamed up with Friends of the Blue Loop and Henry Boot Construction to deliver four conservation days clearing the Don Valley Moorings and canal basin behind the Park. The Blue Loop is the perfect place for a winter walk, an 8-mile circuit around Sheffield and Tinsley Canal and the River Don, and Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park makes an ideal starting point.
 
In partnership with The Outdoor City and Accelerate, we’re pleased to offer two brand new run routes – a 1.8km route around the Park or a longer 6km route which takes in sections of the Blue Loop around Attercliffe. If you incorporate the hill into your run, you’ll be rewarded with a fantastic view of the entire Park and much of Sheffield.  All runs start on the 100m sprint track in the centre of the Park.
 
You can also visit on bike by riding along the River Don and turning off onto Newhall Road. Follow this handy National Cycle Network route from Sustrans.
 
Supertram offer a variety of fares from singles, day, weekly or even longer tickets. All day travel starts from £4, and travel for the family starts from £9. These great value day and weekly tickets are available to purchase from the on board conductor, and longer term tickets are available to purchase on the Supertram website or on the Stagecoach Bus App. Please note that all on tram purchases are cash only.
