    To celebrate Move More Month and the bicentenary of Sheffield & Tinsley Canal, join us for a guided tour of the ‘Blue Loop’, an 8 mile waterways walk along the banks of the Canal and the River Don.

    The walk will begin and end at Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park. Throughout the day you’ll learn about the history of the waterways and the local area and have the chance to spot some wildlife along the way – herons and kingfishers are regular visitors and salmon have recently returned to the river.

    Please meet at 9.30am outside the main entrance of the English Institute of Sport Sheffield, Coleridge Road, Sheffield, S9 5DA

    The walk is expected to take approximately 4-5 hours including a break for lunch (please bring your own lunch and refreshments)

    Please wear suitable clothing and footwear.
