A large proportion of players have benefitted from playing regular football – both physically, mentally and socially. Players have a range of conditions but they all thoroughly enjoy playing football, and Sheffield FC Disability supports them to develop as players and as people. Current player conditions include ADHD, Amputee, Asthma, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Deaf, Dyspraxia, Epilepsy, Learning Difficulties and Tourettes. The juniors U12 and U16 play in the Sheffield & District Junior League and the adults play in the South Yorkshire Ability Counts League and the Sheffield & Hallamshire Flourish League. Sheffield FC Disability also welcome children and adults who’d prefer not to enter competitive games but simply would like to play football at the training sessions. The event is open to both prospective Year 9 and Year 12 students and current applicants. At the event you will hear about the unique offer in four specialist areas: Computing, Health Sciences & Social Care, Sport Science, and Applied Science. You will hear from the Principal and have the opportunity to speak with Curriculum Directors, meet some current students and tour the fantastic facilities. There will also be some subject demonstrations and an opportunity to find out about the GCSE and A Level offer. Follow the link and complete the form to book your place.
