The 2022 Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park Urban Cyclo Cross race will be a stand alone event as part of the Yorkshire CycloCross Association (YCCA) summer series. A Sheffield Urban CX event attracts a wide variety of riders of all ages, from those who want to push themselves and battle out racing rivalries to those who just want to try cycle sport for the first time.
The format, categories and round durations will be in line with the rest of the YCCA races that are running in 2022, this will mean the racing environment is easy for riders familiar with YCCA events to recognise, and straightforward for new riders to understand.
