Sheffield Hallam University v University of Sheffield

Sheffield’s two Universities will be battling it out in 35 sports to take home the Varsity 2023 trophy.

Sports teams from the University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam University are raring to compete in the annual Sheffield Varsity sporting competition which this year will be celebrating its 27th year. The competition has gone from strength to strength gaining even more participation and spectators than ever.

Students will take part in 35 sports, in 23 venues across Yorkshire; including the Ice Hockey final at the Utilita Arena Sheffield. Athletes from both universities use this major sporting competition as a chance to showcase their talent with the aim of bringing home the Varsity trophy.
